Grant Govan Memorial Homes
Grant Govan Memorial Homes which is a retirement home for Anglo-Indians of limited means. The Homes were created some 60  years ago by the friends of R.E.Grant Govan who died in a tragic accident and were officially inaugurated in October 1940 by the Marchioness of Linlithgow,  wife of the then Vice Roy. The Homes are set on a compound near Kashmere Gate and consist of individual furnished cottages for the residents. More recently, the Homes have been listed as a historic monument. The Homes are totally dependent on the support they receive.

IBG supports monthy grant is provided to the residents of the Grant Govan Memorial Homes towards usage of :

  •        Electricity
  •        Water
  •       Telephone
